Sharing the Ministry
Just as He called his apostles by name, through our baptism Jesus has called each of us to use the gifts which have been entrusted to us build up the kingdom of God -- the body of Christ. Each of us has has been iniquely blessed with talents, skills, temperaments, life experiences and resources. It is through this diversity of gifts that the needs of the community and the world are met.  We live as disciples of Jesus and stewards of his mission by nurturing and cultivating God's gifts -- including the gift of life itself -- and by sharing them generously with love and gratitude.

There are many opportunities both within the parish and out in the community to respond to the call to be "good and faithful stewards."  Those ministries are described throughout the website.  Use the navigation bar to the left to move through the site.  There you will find contact information for each ministry.

   2010 Annual Offertory Commitment

Each year, our faith community takes time to reflect on our financial support of the parish through the Sunday offertory.  What we place in the offertory sustains us as a faith community. It's not the only thing and it certainly isn't the central thing but it is important.  It impacts the way in which we carry out our day to day ministry.  The way we give also has an impact on us.  Giving which reflects a commitment to the community and a selfless generosity changes us.  It helps make us better people and our community a better place.  Commitment and selfless generosity -- it sustains us -- it helps us thrive.  Our commitment covers the regular calendar year -- January through December.

To help with fulfilling your commitment on a regular basis, electronic giving is available for making secure, automatic contributions from a credit card or a checking/savings account.  Close to 200 parish households now use EFT.

For more information on making an offertory commitment, contact Robin Margraf at rmargraf@olfchurch.net or at 492-4101 ext. 117.

Questions regarding electronic giving should be directed to Ron Runolfson at rrunolfson@olfchurch.net or at 492-4101 ext. 102.
